This morning we had a special Trinity Sunday Service of the Word led by Rev. Stephanie . We enjoyed hearing a narration from her, Sandra, Jane and Kingsley and a beautiful anthem of The Lord Bless You and Keep you sung by the robed choir.

Good morning ☀️ on ☘️Trinity Sunday☘️ …the day we celebrate the fullness of God - Creator, Redeemer and Comforter.

We hear how, before he left them, Jesus sent his disciples to baptise - in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. But what does that mean when we know that there is just one God?! We are very much looking forward to hearing what Rev’d Stephanie has to say at the 10am Service of the Word which she is leading this morning…

Everyone is always welcome!

Almighty and everlasting God,
you have given us your servants grace,
by the confession of a true faith,
to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity
and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity:
keep us steadfast in this faith,
that we may evermore be defended from all adversities;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord.
Amen.

Join us this Sunday for a special Trinity Sunday Service of the Word led by Rev. Stephanie- all are welcome at StJohn’s

This morning we celebrated Pentecost- the coming of the Holy Spirit and the church’s birthday- with balloons and cake. We also enjoyed Opal beautifully singing the gradual hymn as a solo for us.

Good morning ☀️ on 🔥 Pentecost Sunday 🔥 …the day the Holy Spirit came to the fearful disciples - and the Church was born!

Today we hear again the story of how the disciples are waiting together as they have been told - and then, quite early in the morning, something strange, wonderful, indescribable, happens…

Our Parish Eucharist is at 10am and will be live-streamed.

Everyone is always welcome!

God, who at this time
taught the hearts of your faithful people
by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit:
grant us by the same Spirit
to have a right judgement in all things
and evermore to rejoice in her holy comfort;
through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour.
Amen.
