This morning at St John's Rev. Stephanie led our 8am Holy Communion service which was followed by our 10am Eucharist where Liz talked to us about "Blessed are you when you are persecuted for my sake"

We welcomed the Robed Choir back from their summer break and celebrated Keith's 80th birthday.

Good morning ☀️ on the Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity - today one of our Lay Ministers, Liz, is preaching on the theme: ‘Blessed are you - when you are persecuted for my sake’ as we near the end of our sermon series on the Beatitudes.
As we start a new month, it will be lovely to have the return of our robed choir too.

Our main Parish Eucharist with music, hymns and refreshments afterwards is at 10am and will be live streamed here.

And as today is the first Sunday of the month we also have an 8am service in the Lady Chapel which will be led by Rev’d Stephanie.

Everyone is welcome at all our services!

Almighty God,
whose only Son has opened for us
a new and living way into your presence:
give us pure hearts and steadfast wills
to worship you in spirit and in truth;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
