On Friday 22 May, we will be welcoming Sam Childers, widely known as the Machine Gun Preacher, to share his powerful testimony.

Sam’s life is a remarkable story of transformation — from a past marked by brokenness and violence to a life surrendered to Christ, now devoted to rescuing vulnerable children in East Africa. His journey is a testimony to God’s redeeming grace and the difference one life can make when fully given to Him.

We’re opening this evening to the wider community, and would love you to feel free to share this with anyone in your church who may be encouraged by hearing what God has done — and continues to do — through Sam’s life. If helpful, please do also share this within your church communications or on social media.

We talked about Esther at Whizz Kids this week and her bravery, listening to God and being in place for “such a time as this” and decorated some amazing crown biscuits!

Our young people had a great time at The Gathering Youth event this weekend. So encouraging to have young people lead other young people in worship and to be challenge to think about where we need Jesus more in our life? With pizza and a party playlist dance after too! 🥳

A busy, fun filled Whizz Kids today with more new faces joining us! We played games, built lego, ate snacks and hung out together. We thought about the verse in 1 Samuel 16 which says “People look at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.” And chatted about what things we want to be such as kind, helpful, loving, caring etc. A lovely, fun time together!

Happy Monday!

We loved seeing so many of you at Springlets this morning to play, sing and be creative together.

This afternoon we have Whizz Kids - our after school club for primary school aged children. It is 3:30-5pm and we have snacks, games, crafts, a Bible story and lots and lots of fun! We can’t wait to see everyone there 🥰
