Buttons in Harlescott by Peter Walker Sculptor An art Installation by Peter Walker Sculptor from Monday 30th October 2023 into November. We are hoping to spread a wave of kindness across the community!

The Parish of Harlescott are coming together with the help of Peter Walker Sculptor to create a public art installation. Buttons are symbolic, they bring things together and have been used to represent people. We are asking people to donate buttons to create a large artwork in the chapel at the Church of the Holy Spirit. However, we are making the donation as meaningful as possible through our But

tons Ceremonies. The ceremony gets people to connect with feelings of gratitude for a person who has had an impact on their life. They also need to think of one small act of kindness they can show that person, or someone else in their life that week. By putting their button in the bucket they are representing the person they are grateful for AND making a solid commitment to follow through with the act of kindness. Come and get involved!

What better time than Advent to continue our 'acts of kindness' sparked by 'Buttons' by Peter Walker Sculptor.
Advent begins on Sunday, but we are beginning our Parish Advent reflections tomorrow, Wednesday 29th November 2023 at 7.00pm in the lady Chapel (Where the buttons were!) at Church of the Holy Spirit. Everyone welcome!
