Carlecotes Church & Hall

Carlecotes Church & Hall Carlecotes Church & Hall are at the heart of the historic hamlet of Carlecotes, between Pen*stone & Holmfirth in South Yorkshire.

The church was built in 1857 by the Chapman family, who lived in Carlecotes Hall for almost 200 years. The church is an ideal venue for weddings, holding up to 150 people comfortably. The vicar of Pen*stone Reverend David Hopkins regularly conducts services and weddings here. Find out more about services that are planned for the next few months. Next door to the church lies Carlecotes Hall, a Jaco

bean house which is steeped in history, with records showing that people have lived here since 1485. It an ideal venue for a marquee wedding on its attractive garden and grounds. Requests about wedding services should be directed to Rev David at Pen*stone Church, any enquiries about hiring out the grounds and garden for a wedding or event, should be sent to [email protected].

Two great events coming up, our Garden Party on Saturday 27th June in the grounds of Carlecotes Hall and Church in Carlecotes S36 4TD. Brass Band, lovely setting and our annual fundraiser for St Anne's church.

Two weeks after the Summer Fun Day will be taking place on the field at Crow Edge Community Centre - a great day out for all the family.

We're looking forward to the Summer Garden Party taking place on Sat 27th June starting at 2pm, in the church and hall grounds in Carlecotes (S36 4TD).

The event is our main fundraiser for St Anne's church in Carlecotes and all monies go towards the church running costs and maintenance. We thank you for your support and will see you on 27th June.
