What a wonderful time we shared together at our Circuit Service today!

Gathered both in person and at home, we explored what it means to be "all together in one place" as God's people. There was a real sense of participation and engagement throughout the service as we celebrated God's faithfulness, offered prayers of thanksgiving, and reflected on the many ways God has guided us on our journey.

Together we also entered into lament, honestly bringing our questions, burdens and longings before God. It was deeply moving to see people writing their own psalms and expressing their faith through prayer and reflection.

And as we looked to the future with hope, we were reminded that we are one body in Christ, each with a unique part to play in God's mission and ministry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, contributed prayers and thoughts, and helped make this such a meaningful and encouraging occasion. May we continue to celebrate, lament, hope, and journey together in the presence of God.

Loving God, we thank you for bringing the Goole and Selby circuit together this morning as one family in Christ. Bless our worship today with your spirit of unity, joy, and hope. Strengthen the bonds between our churches, that we may serve our communities with compassion, speak your truth with courage and share your love with generosity.
Make us one in heart and purpose, so that all we do brings glory to your name.
Amen
