St. John the Baptist, East Ayton Welcome to St John the Baptist Church, the Parish Church of East Ayton in the Diocese Of York and part of the Church Of England.

We are linked with St Martin’s Church of Seamer in a joint benefice. Our Church building has graced the centre of the village since about 1150 but we are here to share the Christian Faith and tradition according to the needs of the twenty-first century. The Church is open on most weekdays from 8.30am until at least mid- afternoon for anyone to spend a quiet moment and we have a prayer box for pray

er requests which will be honoured for seven days and can be renewed. Everyone is welcome to our services and activities so please look at our website which shows the place of our Church in the life of the local community.

On Saturday 20th June and Sunday 21st June we celebrate the Patronal festival of St John the Baptist.
On Saturday all are welcome at a Coffee Morning from 10-12 at St John’s, East Ayton.
On Sunday morning the service is at 10am (not the usual 9am)
There is no service at Cayton or Seamer as we join together at St John’s, East Ayton at 10am for Benefice Holy Communion.
All welcome.
In the afternoon we move to St John the Baptist Church, Cayton where all are welcome at 4.00pm to a service of Songs of Praise.

Advance notice of the 5th Sunday service at the later time of 10am. Usual services are 9am. All welcome any week.
