This sunflower by the church carpark wall, seems to like the hot weather 🙂
This year the sun shone on the St George's Garden Party. Enjoyed by all who attended in the Vicarage Garden and the spread of lovely food was up to scratch (in the usual St George's tradition!)

Sad to see the oak tree go. It was suffering several problems and the tree experts decided the safest thing was total removal. Two days turned out to be not enough to get it all down. So the totem pole cm catapult will remain until the job can be completed in a couple of weeks.

At 4pm the monthly Lighthouse service, open to all while being aimed at younger families. This month there will be plenty of singing.
