This Sunday! We are back with a bring and share breakfast service, with excellent coffee served up by Adrian and Khos. We'll eat together before Keith's short talk and some discussion time - there's Corinthian activities for the children too 😇 Then Lauren and the band will be leading us in our time of worship. If you are new to church this is an easy, informal event so why not join us this Sunday? Everyone's welcome!

What does the word peace mean to you? Do you find your peace being disrupted, and if so why?

In this talk, Jason points us to where our ultimate reassurance lies - in a God who loves, saves and rescues. He reminds us of who we are and how we can both receive peace and bring it to others - whether our peace is disrupted by fear, sickness, or anxiety over our own failures. Peace is not a goal, but a promise from Jesus. Are we positive about looking for peace as individuals and as a community?

Do you concieve of sin as solely a personal issue? Is there such a thing as systemic sin? How do we stand against problematic systems?

Matt asks what areas of cultural, corporate sin we are decieving ourselves in, and what we can do about it. How should we respond? By blaming or denying? What is the correct Christian response when faced with our own participation in systems of oppression or environmental harm? Who is called to challenge the status quo? Why are Christians uniquely equipped to make a difference? Practically, what changes can we make together as a church? Why, as Christians should we choose to act?

Who are you when you are around other people? Is it the same person as with others? How easy is it to accept the person God made you to be? When everything seems to be telling you not to bother doing something, why should we ignore the small challenges and persevere?

In this talk, Abe examines the wider context of a famous verse, asking what it really means to not fear or worry. Fear leads to standing still, so how can we find the courage to be who God has made us to be? Abe challenges us to not to ask fear is holding you back, rather ask what is your fear holding you back from. Paul assures Timothy that God has gifts and blessings ahead for him, and Abe encourages us similarly to step into God's blessings in confidence.
