2 events this week, both are raising money, both include cream teas and beautiful gardens!

Brede Mothers’ Union is having a garden party on Wednesday 3rd June from 1.30pm in aid of FSW Family Support Work at 2 Bellhurst Cotts, Chitcombe Rd, BroadOak, TN31 6EU.

The Friends of St George’s Church, Brede, is hosting Tea with a view on Saturday 6th June from 2-4pm at Perryfield, Stubb Lane, Brede, TN31 6EH

Tonight is Reverend Francesca Reid’s Induction and Installation, our prayers are with her today as she prepares to start her new ministry and also with Hugh, who had his service last night. You are all invited to join us this evening. Just a note on parking.
🅿️ This will be in Stubb Lane on the right just after the Scout Hut in Mr Vickers’ field (thank you!) please park here. Only blue badge holders may park near the church, we kindly ask that you respect our neighbours’ access to their properties. Thank you! 🙏

Please pray for Hugh Reid, who will be licensed tonight by Bishop Will, as Priest in Charge of the United Benefice of St Mary the Virgin, Salehurst and Holy Trinity Hurst Green. Please continue to pray for Hugh and Francesca (who will be licensed tomorrow in Brede). It is a joy to welcome them both to the Diocese. We hold them in our prayers as they take up these ministries here, trusting that God will guide and flourish their work among us.

🙏 Our good wishes and prayers are with Reverend Hugh Reid as he has his Induction and Installation this evening to become the Priest in Charge of Robertsbridge, Hurst Green and Sandhurst. We are so blessed to have such a lovely couple come and reside in our parishes and we pray that with God’s blessings they both accomplish great things over the coming years for our churches and parishes. Welcome and good luck to you both! Of course, it is our Reverend Fran’s turn tomorrow so a busy week for them! ❤️
