67 visitors attended our Foodbank yesterday and we supported all of them thanks to continued donations from Parishioners as well as private donations.

We extend a huge thank you to the scout group and their leaders, who meet in our hall, for their help unloading the delivery we had on Tuesday night! We couldn’t have managed it without your help! 💪🫶

With the change in the weather we are once again looking to offer cuppa soups and instant noodles to our visitors. Any donations can be left at the back of both Churches as well as at Jingers and Le Sorelle in Bunrside.

We've had a very enjoyable Doors Open Day at St Mark's today, being joined by former parishioners, interested locals and young families as we threw our doors wide to the community. Parishioners and visitors alike are welcome at Doors Open Day in St Mark's tomorrow (Saturday 5th Sept) from 10.30am-3.30pm. We'll be showcasing rarely-seen treasures such as the original trowel and mallet from the laying of the foundation stone, plus a brochure, ticket and papal blessing from the Solemn Opening Mass in 1961. All welcome.

Our wonderful team of volunteers has supported 255 visitors to our Foodbank over the past three weeks. We have been fortunate to be able to help each one of them thanks to generous support from the Parish and the community.

With the change in the weather we are looking to offer some Cuppa Soups, so if anyone could pick up a box and drop them into the collection points in both Churches, or at Jingers or Le Sorelle in Burnside, that would be much appreciated.

Massive thanks to everyone for their support and to our team, a huge thank you for all you do to make our Foodbank the success it is.

Our Little Miracles group for babies, toddlers and those looking after them, has begun again on a Thursday 10-11.30am at St Mark's Hall. Our numbers are growing, and everyone is enjoying the wide range of toys, the singing and bubbles, and the hospitality for adults and kids alike. Just come along and visit us for more info, you'll be made very welcome.
