Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured following an altercation in Nest Lane, Wellingborough.

The incident happened between 5pm and 5.40pm on Friday, September 4, following a disagreement between the drivers of two vehicles. During the altercation, one man was pushed to the ground and sustained serious injuries.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 40s to early 50s, about 5ft 10in, of a slim build, with dark hair and dark eyes.

Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or has CCTV, doorbell, dash-cam or other footage that could assist their enquiries.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Have you seen Sakib?

We are appealing for help to find 17-year-old Sakib who could be in the Kettering area after being reported missing from Nottingham on Saturday, August 1.

Sakib is about 5ft 7in, of a slim build, with short black hair and was last seen wearing a navy Nike tracksuit and black and white Nike trainers.

Officers are concerned for his safety and would like anyone who has seen Sakib, or knows of his whereabouts, to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting MPCN/2502/26.

Likewise, Sakib, if you are reading this, please contact us so we know that you are okay. You are not in trouble; we just want to make sure you are safe.

We offer full training, and uniforms.

We ask that you are a Christian who attends church on a regular basis.
