in 1846 George Müller recorded in his diary: "One of the Orphans having received half-a-crown from a cousin, gave 1s. 6d. of it towards building the Orphan-House". The House Müller refers to is Home No 1 which opened in 1849 and cost £10,000 to construct and fit out. It's still there today!

It's fantastic to see that the George Müller Museum has been allowed to relocate to one of the old Ashley Down Orphanages that he built. Hopefully it'll draw much more interest in the man and, hopefully, the God he served...

In 1857 work was completed on House no 2 at Ashley Down. 162 years later, we are so excited to be preparing to move our offices and museum into a section of this building! You can find out more about the move here: https://www.mullers.org/news/97
