What a great first Sunday back at Freedom Church after the summer holidays!

We had our very first ever youth takeover service and boy did it not disappoint.

Our young people hosted, let worship, shared testimonies of our time away at Newday and preached the word of God. They did such an amazing job of it.

We continue to be excited for what God is doing in and through our young people, and we know there’s more to come. At Freedom Church, we desire our young people, not just to be a separate youth group, but a part of Church life, where they can grow, be encouraged and contribute in their gifting.

👟 Freedom Youth Takeover Service this Sunday 🛜

Freedom Youth will be taking over the service this Sunday as we return to our normal services post the Summer holiday.

Our young people will be hosting, preaching, leading worship and talking about their time away at Newday in the Summer!

If you have a teenager or young person who you think would find this service a great way of trying a church please bring them along!

Family Summer Service ☀️🌿

Tomorrow, Sunday 23rd August, we’re gathering for our Family Summer Service at 3:15pm at St Ed’s Primary!

We’ll be sharing stories of where we’ve seen God move in our lives and how those moments have revealed His kingship, as we reflect on the story of Esther. 👑

We’re also doing something a little different for our summer service with a non-sung time of worship. 🎨✍️

There’ll be opportunities to worship through:
✨ Psalm writing
🎨 Drawing
📌 Our praise wall

A chance to slow down, listen, reflect, respond to God and celebrate who He is.

Whether you come ready to share, get creative, or simply spend some time with God, we’d love to have you with us!

Come and chill with us this Sunday! A relaxed afternoon for everyone families, friends, kids and anyone who’d love to hang out.

🎲 Bring your favourite games — cards, board games, anything you enjoy.

⚽ The field will be open if you fancy some sports.

😊 Not into games? Still come along to chat, relax, and connect.

👨‍👩‍👧 A great chance to invite families who’d appreciate a fun, supportive space during the summer holidays.

Last week we had an amazing time at the Newday Festival!

🎉 We took 33 of our young people and adults from Freedom Church to grow in their faith, have fun and experience God together.

✨ We’re so thrilled that some of our young people made a first-time commitment.

🙌 This is the largest group we’ve ever brought along, and we can’t wait to hear all their stories on Sunday 6th September 26 at our Youth Takeover Service at St Edward’s Primary, RM1 4BT at 3:15pm.
