The Youth Team said a long overdue farewell to Sally yesterday who was with us as a 9:38 Apprentice. We wish her all the best in her new role with CAP(Christians against poverty).A lovely evening and even a flower bouquet of stationery. 😁

Yesterday at Tuesday Explorers we were looking at Jonah Chapter 3. We saw how God saved the people of Nineveh after they repented. We learnt that we too should repent and tell others to do the same. Here are some great coasters that some of the Explorers made as a craft.

It’s SATs week this week. Please do join us in praying for our year 6 children and their families. Here are 3 things you could pray for…

1) They would remember their Father in Heaven who loves them and cares for them and is in control of absolutely everything. Knowing therefore that there is nothing to worry about because All things are in His hands.

2) They would continue to look to their Father in Heaven. As stress increases, pray that these families would continue to pray together and read God’s word together. Pray too that they would come along to Tuesday Explorers still too. Pray they would prioritise devotion to Jesus over revision.

3) Pray that they would work hard and get good results for the glory of God.

This week in Tuesday Explorers, we began looking at the book of Jonah together. We saw that God is the boss but Jonah didn’t listen to Him. What great crafts our kids made too!

Tomorrow is our Good Friday Family Service at 3pm. There will be singing led by our Youth Choir, games, a memory verse to learn and even hot cross buns - all of this as we learn about Jesus’ substitutionary death for us. We hope to see you there!

Tomorrow at Tuesday Explorers we will be starting a new series looking at Big Bible Words. We will be thinking about what words like church, faith and prayer mean and why they’re so important!

We’ve had a great time looking at the Psalms this Half Term at Tuesday Explorers thinking about what God is like. We’ve seen that God is our all-knowing creator, shepherd and host, light and salvation, powerful and our refuge.
