Thrum Hall Methodist Church A community church in Rochdale. Our current minister is the Rev John Malnutt The Church is situated on Thrum Hall Lane a mile from the centre of Rochdale.

Many things take place during the week. Our Sunday worship is at 10.30
if you cannot attend on Sundays try following us on line . Rochdale and Littleborough Methodist circuit on U Tube. We have a Junior Church and the third Sunday is all age worship
Weekly there is an over 55s movement to music. Rangers,Guides,Brownies and Rainbows on Wednesdays. We have established a Community Choir that rehearses on agreed Monday Evenings. this is beginning again following Covid. All are welcome. Our home groups meet for bible study

Luncheon Club and Coffee mornings take place on selected Saturdays. Our members support Bridges and serve soup and food for the homeless and needy at Rochdale Soup Kitchen situated in Champness Hall . We also support Rochdale Foodbank and The Sanctuary Trust. we also work with the local schools supporting curriculum and assemblies. Our newest initiative in The Lighthouse Building the former Methodist Church in Whitworth is working in partnership with The Lighthouse Project and Soup Kitchen as a Food Share Shop. This has become a vital support in the community and has a network of volunteers and supporters. We endeavour to seek to serve our community and share the love of Jesus as . we offer hospitality to all. We are.working on a new exciting project to sustain us for the future

Happy half term!

Just a reminder that most of our activities pause for the half term break so our team can have a much needed rest.

Our walking group (suitable for all ages and abilities) will go ahead as usual on Tuesday, and Good Companions will be on as usual on Thursday.

We hope those of you with children off school have a lovely week together!

We're really excited to kick start our new weekly activity schedule this week!

We've got old favourites like our toddler group and good companions, as well as lots of new things to try - an all abilities walking group, a children's art group, and an outdoor play group!

We've also got our monthly luncheon club returning this month, as well as trying out a monthly messy church on Saturday mornings!

There really is something for everyone.

We'll share more details for each group on here over the coming weeks, but you're welcome to drop us a DM or head to our website for more information!

We've got some fantastic news groups starting at Thrum this September!

Outdoor sensory play for under 5s, a walking group for anyone and everyone, and a kids art club!

These will add to our fantastic programme of activities aimed at welcoming everyone into our church community!

What a gorgeous morning we had at bread church yesterday! So lovely to bake together, have lots of fun and good conversation.

We've got one more summer activity left - Messy Church on Tuesday 25th August from 10.30-12.30. Booking isn't required, but we'll be finishing with food so if you have any dietary requirements or know you're definitely coming it would be helpful to know!

Over the next few days we'll be sharing our new activities for September, keep an eye on our social media to see what we're going to be getting up to!

We had a fab day at our family BBQ today! So good to see our church family and community sharing together, and the rain even held off til the end!

The sky is blue, the games are ready, and the BBQ is heating up.

We love having people of all ages involved with leading worship at Thrum. This morning we learned about David and Goliath at breakfast church, and we're so proud of 2 of our youngest members who wanted to share the reading with us!

It's one of the best things about being part of a church family - everyone gets to use their gifts to help us worship, no matter who they are.

The summer holidays are here!

We're taking a break from some of our regular activities - but we've planned some fun family activities as we'd miss you all too much otherwise!

Our first event is our family BBQ on Saturday 25th July from 12-2. Come along for some outdoor games, yummy food and great company!
