It was a glorious day for a prayer walk! 11 walkers and 2 dogs prayed their way from St Mary’s to Easby Abbey on an utterly beautiful day. Thanks be to God!

*EMAIL SCAM WARNING*

We’re getting some reports that emails are being sent to the congregation by emails pretending to be either Revd Martin, Revd Lorna, or one of the church wardens. These emails usually have some sort of “urgent” subject line, and the contents are vague requests to contact the sender immediately.

Please also check the email address from which the email was sent, and make sure it’s the actual email address that you’ve got down for the alleged sender!

We're having a prayer walk! 23rd August, 1pm, meeting outside St Mary's.

All are welcome to come along to a chilled out walk from St Mary's to Easby Abbey following the Easby Loop. There will be a short reflective prayer service at Easby Abbey at 2pm for anyone who wants to come along but doesn't fancy the walk itself!

All creatures great and small are welcome!

Congratulations to our lovely church wardens - without whom our churches could not run - for swearing their oaths of declarations at the Archdeacon’s Visitation Service at Ripon Cathedral yesterday evening!
