Last Days Christians Last Days Christians is a fellowship who believe in charity, helping the poor, supporting widows and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ.

We work closely with Gillingham Street Angels Food Bank who deal directly with the public, completely free. Last Days Christians Fellowship are focused on charitable acts to the local community, providing food, faith and support as appropriate. We have managed to help low income families that have struggled to even pay the rent. We have also helped recovering addicts who have bene through the vari

ous programmes and need some initial support to get them back on their feet. Over the years we have collected food waste from Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and now M&S. We are blessed by the staff at the various stores, who are very helpful and supportive. We have a team of faithful volunteers who support this charitable act and makes this valuable service available. Our overheads are quite low, but we want to thank a number of supporters who make donations towards fuel costs.

We are pleased that M&S have managed to recover from their systems being hacked. The new stock management systems is vastly improved and food waste has been dramatically reduced, so a big well done everybody.

Of course this has a knock on effect to us as food waste collectors, however, we are pleased that M&S are now more profitable and still in business, especially as a number of stores did sadly close. We are grateful for whatever we get. It is a pleasure to deal with such professional M&S Staff who are always cheerful. It was amusing to have such an abundance of brussel sprouts and trifle recently, it made an interesting meal for the homeless we get food to. They are very grateful for the fresh sandwiches, some of which are quite fancy 'cheese and cranberry'.

Neighbourly have an excellent efficient system that manage all our pickups and make food surplus possible. A big thanks to them. May 2026 be blessed for them and all our collectors.
