When you are going through a time of mourning, God promises that He will be with you to comfort you. The Holy Spirit is always with you wherever you are and whatever you are going through.

Jesus is speaking about spiritual poverty, not material poverty, we can be materially rich but spiritually poor. When we realise our spiritual poverty and turn to God through Jesus Christ we become spiritually rich as we inherit the Kingdom of God.

When you are struggling, going through difficult times and feeling down, that is when you need to praise and worship the Lord.

When we know our limitations and tell the Lord about them, then He is able to come in and strengthen us with His power. We have to learn to surrender to the Lord and let Him work through us.

When we sow financially into the Kingdom of God, we must do it willingly and cheerfully. It must never feel like an obligation but rather a joy to give. Our heart attitude must be right.
