Hi all.. for the first time in the time I have been the Vicar here, I would like to have a Palm Sunday procession down the church drive on Palm Sunday which is on the 29th March 2026 (11am) . To make this happen, I am hoping that someone can attend with a donkey, c**t or pony to be part of the procession into church ( yes, into the church). If you have a pony or donkey and want to be involved, please DM me or call the vicarage on 01905 830270. No wise cracks or pantomime horse gags will be replied to! I have heard them all! Rev Gary

Since Christmas, so many families have seen in the New Year without a significant friend or beloved family member in their midst. It has been a privilege to support the families of Becky, Francis, Sue, Brian, Gill, Christopher, Robert and Vicky with funeral arrangements, or just being with their families, as they mourn their loss across Old Hills Malvern Churches and Christ Church Malvern. Sometimes the grind of dealing with “church admin”, building ( or heating!) issues and internal politics is sapping, but praying and supporting such families is at the heart of my ministry to these villages and now a part of Malvern town. Long may it continue, with God’s Grace. May those families I am supporting with funeral ministry know that their loved ones will rest in peace and they will run straight into God’s loving embrace.

Good day of community Carol church services across Powick and Guarlford today. Thank you for all who came- many new faces to meet. Lovely storytelling and music at both churches - and a great history of the classic 12 days of Christmas song. With thanks to Chase Brass band too for some great playing at Guarlford Church tonight.
