A little bit about our growing church family 💙

Ballyeasborough Church
St Andrew’s Church of Ireland

📍We are situated in the very heart of the Ards Peninsula and easily found (between Portavogie and Glastry College)

👋 We recently welcomed a new minister
to lead us in this new chapter - Rev Stephen Doherty

🗺️ Ballyeasborough Church serves Portavogie, Ballyhalbert, Glastry, Ballyeasborough, etc

Our current ministries:
🙌 Sunday Worship every Sunday at 12noon
(with teas & treats served from 11.30am in the hall)
🤲 Bible Study every Tuesday at 7.30pm
🙏 Prayer Service every Wednesday at 10.30am

✝️ In these coming months, we want to create an open and welcoming space for people of all ages and stages of life to spiritually and socially grow in the name of Jesus

🧑‍🧒‍🧒 We want to put out a special invitation to parents with young children. Currently (as we are in a renewed season of growth) we do not have a crèche or Sunday School group - but don’t let that put you off coming to worship with us at Ballyeasborough! We welcome children - we welcome their noise and their presence ❤️

📚 As you come in to the church, there is a selection of books, puzzles and activities for your child/ren to enjoy during church

😇 This is your personal invitation to join us as we strive to develop and increase our ways in which we can share the Gospel of Jesus Christ across our parish

(something about a football team AGM 😜 & injuries)
we won’t be doing Walking Football this evening!

Today at 10.30am, we will set aside much of our time for seeking God’s forgiveness and blessing on our community and our church especially in light of recent events

Please be encouraged and invited to come along for this informal time of prayer - silent, open & reflective

Our Men’s Walking Football continues tomorrow evening in the McVeigh Hall from 7pm

‼️ Bible Study Group - cancelled this evening ‼️
Due to planned protests, road closures etc,
I feel we should cancel this evening’s group
and resume next Tue!
Together, we must pray for peace on our streets
in the midst of this awful atrocity 🙏
Prayer Service will still be happening tomorrow
in the church at 10.30am and I plan to set aside
time for prayer over our community focusing on this immediate situation 🙏
