With immediate effect, the car park at St John the Baptist Church and Cemetery will be closed and locked at 8pm each evening. All vehicles should vacate the car park before this time. The car park will not reopen until the following morning.

While we recognise this is an inconvenience, especially to those visiting the Cemetery, this action has been taken as a result of ongoing evening/late night antisocial behaviour involving vehicles in the car park over the past few weeks.

As we said a fond farewell to Lourdes last week, we continue to reflect on the many graces and blessings received throughout our pilgrimage.

Old friends were reunited, new friendships formed among our diocesan volunteers, and, as always the assisted pilgrims remained at the very heart of the week. Their joy, faith, and presence made so many moments truly special.

The depth of faith expressed in the petitions offered, alongside the glow of countless candles, carried prayers both spoken and held quietly in our hearts throughout the pilgrimage.

We return home grateful, renewed in faith and thankful for all who journeyed together in Lourdes.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for us.
