Appin and Lismore Intimations – Sunday 7th June 2026

1. This Sunday, 7th June, we shall celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Our Lord’s Table is open to all who love hi or wish to know him more.
2. St Moluag Sunday, 28th June, United Service on Lismore at 2.30pm.
Please sign up for coming to this celebration of the 1,500 years of endurance of faith on Lismore, and what, we pray, will be a day to mark the church building moving into community ownership. Ferry times are: 2.00pm from Port Appin, 4.15pm return from Point, Lismore.
3. Recital by Helen Lothian (Soprano and Cameron Murdoch (Pianist) in St. Oran’s, Saturday 13th June 7.00pm. Entry by donation.
4. The annual Guild Rally takes place on Saturday 13th June in Port Appin Hall at 2.00pm. The speaker will be from the Glasgow Street Pastors. Further, we will be joined by Oban and Duror Guilds. Members are reminded to bring the food that was promised at the last meeting!

1. Wee Singing Group. Our next practice will be today Sunday 31st May. Our piece to sing on is from Songs of God’s People 30 – From Creation’s Start – by Kathy Galloway.
2. Next Sunday, 7th June, we shall celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion

Appin and Lismore Intimations – Sunday 17th May 2026

1. Wee Singing Group. Our next practice will be this Sunday 17th May. Our piece to sing on 31st May will be from Songs of God’s People 30 – From Creation’s Start – by Kathy Galloway.
2. Appin Hall Service. This Sunday 17th May will see us gather next door for our alternative worship service. Remember, there is tea or coffee before the service. This is the last one planned, at present. We shall have an Appin Circle in the near future to glean feedback from you all.

Appin and Lismore Intimations – Sunday 3rd May 2026

1. Christian Aid Soup Lunch. A big thank you to everyone who helped. A magnificent sum was raised and has been forwarded.
2. The Guild meet on Monday evening, 4th May, in Port Appin Hall at 7.30pm. The speaker will be ‘the Minister’ speaking on A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Manse.

1. Annual Stated Meeting of the Congregation after service today, Sunday 26th April.
2. Christian Aid Soup Lunch. Appin Hall, Thursday 30th April from 12.30- 2.00pm. Admission adults £5.00, and children £2.00. There will be baking produce and plant stalls, also a raffle. Donations for the stalls and raffle are most welcome.

1. Our preacher this Sunday is Mr Bill Skene, Reader, from Kilmonivaig Church, Spean Bridge. Rev Dugald is leading worship there and in Fort William in his capacity as their Interim Moderator.
2. The Guild meet on, 13th April, in Port Appin Hall at 7.30pm. The speaker will be from Dr Graham's Homes, Kalimpong. All Welcome.
3. Session Meeting, Wed 15 April at 7.00pm, Tom-a-Ghiuthais. Also on Microsoft Teams.
4. Annual Stated Meeting of the Congregation after Appin service on Sunday 26th April.

1. Easter Sunday, we start with a breakfast in Appin Hall from 9.15am onwards, then egg rolling at 9.50am, concluding with our celebration of Easter morning in an All-Age Communion Service. If the weather is terrible, we have another plan – an egg hunt in the Hall!

Appin and Lismore Intimations – Sunday 29th March 2026

1. This Sunday, our worship is our last with Donna Dugdale, our student in training. There will be a cup of tea afterwards, and the chance to chat with Donna and wish her all the best in the future.
2. Wee Singing Group. We shall be singing on Maundy Thursday 2nd April 7.00pm and on Easter Sunday 5th April 10.00am. Our last practice will be on Sunday 29th March before worship: 9.40am.

3. Holy Week and Easter. We will join together for a Maundy Thursday Communion at 7.00pm in Appin Church.
