Sometimes it’s hard not to look at someone else’s life and wonder, “Why does it seem like God is doing so much more for them?”

Their prayers seem to be answered. Their path seems clearer. Things just seem to be falling into place for them.

And then we look at our own lives and wonder, “What about me, Lord?”

When Peter asked Jesus about another disciple, Jesus’ answer was simple: “You follow me.” (John 21:22)

That’s still what He asks of us.

We may not understand why someone else’s journey looks different from ours. We may not see why God has allowed certain things in our own path. But we don’t have to figure it all out.

We just need to keep our eyes on Jesus, trust Him with the things we don’t understand, and be faithful with the path He has given us.

It’s Sunday. 🌞

Maybe you’re looking forward to church this week. Maybe you nearly stayed in bed. Maybe you’ve got a lot on your mind.

Whatever your reason for coming, take the time to slow down and turn your attention back to Jesus.

Let’s worship, listen, pray, and simply enjoy being together as God’s people.

We often think being faithful means doing something big for God. But sometimes faithfulness looks very ordinary.

Showing up. Praying when no one knows. Choosing forgiveness. Serving when it goes unnoticed. Opening His Word when you don’t feel like it. Loving people when it costs you something.

Jesus sees it all.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23).

Keep being faithful in the small things. They matter because He matters.

Sometimes we can start thinking God isn’t listening simply because the answer hasn’t come yet.

Maybe there’s a prayer you’ve been carrying for a long time. You’ve asked, waited, prayed again, and still nothing seems to change. It can be hard not to wonder, “Lord, when?”

But God’s faithfulness isn’t measured by how quickly He answers, or by whether He gives us the answer we were hoping for. He is faithful because He is faithful.

So keep praying. Keep seeking Him. Keep bringing your worries, questions, and hopes to Jesus.

We may not understand why God allows us to wait, but we can trust that He has not forgotten us. His timing is not ours, but His character never changes.

Let God’s Word remind you again of His goodness, His grace, and the hope we have in Jesus. 🤍Watch and listen to our late...
