You're Invited to Celebrate 146 Years of Community, Faith & Service!

For 146 years, Devonport Morice Town Salvation Army has been serving the people of Plymouth through worship, friendship, practical support, and community outreach.

This July, we'd love you to join us as we celebrate this remarkable milestone during our 146th Anniversary Weekend, themed: Faithful Then. Faithful Now. Faithful Always.

Saturday 18 July – 7:00pm - Musical Festival

An evening of uplifting music featuring Salvation Army musicians and singers, celebrating 146 years of ministry in Devonport.

Sunday 19 July – 10:30am - Anniversary Celebration Service

A joyful service of worship, thanksgiving, and reflection, led by Majors Cliff and Jean Bradbury, followed by refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Whether you're a current member, a former member, have memories of the corps from years gone by, or have simply never visited before, you will receive a very warm welcome.

Do you want to play an active role in making Devonport, Mount Wise, and Morice Town an even better place to live?

Rev. Sue Nicholas (Chair of Pride in Place for Devonport, Mount Wise and Morice Town) and I are hosting a meeting for residents who are interested in joining our brand-new Neighbourhood Board. This is a fantastic, hands-on opportunity to drive local projects, tackle the issues that matter to you, and ensure our community's voice is heard loud and clear.
