The Bishop's Harvest Appeal is open again, and for a third year it supports Christian Aid's work in Burkina Faso, helping families in rural communities find sustainable sources of food, income and dignity. An Anglican training centre at Ingeniero Juarez in northern Argentina also benefits, through our partnership with the Church Mission Society.

Bishop Rob has recorded a launch message of just under two minutes explaining where the money goes.

Two years of this appeal in Burkina Faso have paid for breeding livestock for hundreds of families, thousands of agricultural kits of seeds and fertiliser, and training in livestock management for more than two thousand poultry farmers. In northern Argentina the CEFA theological training centre keeps growing: 13 women enrolled last year, preparing to minister in their own communities.

Printed leaflets and bookmarks are available for your church. Collect them from Church House in Penrith if you can, or email [email protected] and we will post them out.
