St Bart’s Penn. St Anne’s was named after Anne, the grandmother of Jesus.

So, after the excitement of last Sunday, meeting Luke and making him welcome, tomorrow we are continuing with a reading and talk from Chronicles, Chapter 34- The Reading of God's Word.

HOT OFF THE PRESS!!
Luke is, as I write, on his way to Wolverhampton from London- Phew!
He will be at St Bart's for the 10.00am service, and just so people there can say hello and welcome and give him time to get to St Anne's we are going to start the service at 11.55am.
So please come along, have coffee or cold drink and worship with the St Anne's congregation including Luke.
This is a really exciting time for our churches, and a massive step for Luke and his family.
I know his welcome at St Anne's will be second to none!

On Sunday Rev Luke is paying a flying visit to both St Anne's and St Bart's.

Wow! Will this heatwave ever end???
But St Anne's will be cool if you come along tomorrow.
Our reading and talk, by Rev Caroline, is called Power Corrupts- not to be missed!!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the Flower Festival such a happy event, sadly I couldn't make it due to just coming out of hospital, again!
Tomorrow is our Family Communion Service, a reading from Chronicles and a title of "Provision for Ministry"

Family Communion Service- as normal 11.45
Followed by Bring & Share Lunch
The theme for tomorrow is about Richard of Chichester- any info you can find out I'm sure will be well received- not sure about a prize though!

So, tomorrow is Trinity Sunday. It's the day when most vicars run for the hills and leave the curate to explain the complications of The Trinity!
No problems for us- lovely Su will explain it all!!
