Hello,
Tomorrow of Course is Mothering Sunday, NOT NOT NOT Mother's Day!
We will, of course be celebrating Mums, but also other people who have cared for us, nurtured us, looked after us in our lives.
the chorus of one of our songs goes like this-

This is amazing grace, this is unfailing love,
that You would take my place,
that You would bear my cross.
You would lay down Your life,
that I would be set free.
Jesus, I sing for all that You’ve done for me.

We have some lovely Tulip posies to give to all ladies (sorry chaps!) and of course coffee before and chocolate biscuits after.
Take Care, God Bless and let's say a big thankyou to all who care for us and love us.

Good Morning,
I hope your week has gone well.
Our reading tomorrow brings us to the last part of Paul's letter to the Ephesians- we have called it Prayer and Peace. With what's happening at the moment in our world I don't think we could have had a more thought proving title.
One of our worship songs will be:-

I will come to you in prayer
I will seek your face
I will stand within the gap
There to intercede

For every time I pray, I move the hand of God
My prayer does things my hands cannot do.
For every time I pray, the mountains are removed,
The paths made straight, and nations turn to you.

These words move me to tears, let's pray that our prayers at the moment really do move the hand of God.
Take care, God Bless xx

Well, Hello, isn't it lovely to see the sun? Let's hope tomorrow will be just as bright and sunny.
Our service tomorrow is our Family Communion, where we are exploring more from Paul's letter to the Ephesians- God's Complete Armour.
So what could be better for our first worship song than-

In heavenly armour we'll enter the land
The battle belongs to the Lord
No weapon that's fashioned against us will stand
The battle belongs to the Lord.

And we sing glory, honour
Power and strength to the Lord
We sing glory, honour
Power and strength to the Lord

When the power of darkness comes in like a flood
The battle belongs to the Lord
He's raised up a standard, the power of His blood
The battle belongs to the Lord.

Normal time 11.45am, have coffee and a chat before the service.

Take care, God Bless

Good Morning Everyone, I hope that the week has been good for you. On Wednesday it was Ash Wednesday, so we are now in the season of Lent.
We are still in our series of Paul's letter to the Ephesians, and tomorrow we are looking at Chapter 6 verses 1-9 Children/Parents/Employers- so this is a very wide topic for us to get our heads round!
One of our Worship Songs will be:-

Bind us together, Lord
bind us together with cords
that cannot be broken.
Bind us together, Lord
bind us together, Lord
bind us together in love.

There is only one God,
there is only one King.
There is only one Body,
that is why we sing:

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, normal time, 11.45am Coffee before the service.

Take care and God Bless

Well, what's this all about? Blue Sky? Not Raining?!
Good Morning, welcome to St Anne's page. Our reading tomorrow maybe just a little controversial- just saying!
It's all about Pauls view of wives! again just saying!
But, as it's the weekend of St Valentine maybe we need to think outside the St Paul's rules box.
Normal time 11.45am, coffee available before the service.
Sadly, I won't be there- we are celebrating a special birthday.
Take care, God Bless xx

After our lovely Christingle Service last Sunday, tomorrow we welcome Archdeacon Liz to St Anne's. We think this is a first- never before, in long living memory, has an Archdeacon visited St Anne's!
A memorable occasion.
Our service tomorrow centres around Psalm 40- Praise & Thanksgiving.
As always all welcome coffee/tea before the service, a warm church and chocolate biscuits at the end.
Hope to see you to welcome Archdeacon Liz as a first.

Hooray- The snow has gone!
So, we are able to have our Christingle Service tomorrow at 11.45am.
It would be lovely to see lots of people there, and who know, if it's dry and not windy we may even be able to take out Christingles outside.
Take care everyone, and God Bless xx

ALERT! ALERT!
This probably will be no surprise, but we have decided to cancel the service at St Anne's tomorrow. Although conditions are supposed to improve we felt we shouldn't take the risk.

BUT we have just postponed it until next week.

Please let everyone that may have come know.

Take care, stay warm and safe and God Bless xx
