Why do we need to do outreach children’s ministry? ✨

It is more important now than ever before that we are present in our community. Think about how Jesus did his ministry and his final commission to all of us was to go and do the same. 🙏🏻

How can we make our church settings more inclusive?

Every child is different, they have different likes and dislikes, they respond to things in different ways and it’s up to us to get to know them and help them feel valued and accepted.

There is so much more to share on this topic but we need to be proactive rather than reactive. Get yourself informed. Book into some training or book in for a free consultation with us to share some ideas.

When parents come to your church they want to know that it is a safe space for their child to be loved, accepted and where they are going to be discipled. Let’s make our churches inclusive for ALL children.

I love this scripture. It is such a beautiful picture. I wonder how things would change if the whole church would see children in this way. They are a gift; a reward and are so powerful!
So why do we keep sending them out to different spaces?

Bring them into church.

Let them see hands raised.
Let them hear worship.
Let them be surrounded by people who love Jesus and aren’t ashamed of it.

Easter is here!! 🙌🏻✝️

This time of year is a perfect time to reach out to your community and share the good news.

Why not go into schools and do some assemblies. have some great gospel illusions that we use every year to share the good news message.

Easter parties are a great way to invite all the community to come together. Keep it fun and interactive, and make sure you have lots of chocolate and sweets!! 🍫🍬

All of these things are great pathways for people to start engaging with church. Have fun and share love, joy and hope!

We are all called to ‘Go Out’. But to see fruit we need some sort of intentional strategy, just like Jesus did.

Launching back after the Christmas period!! 🤩

Last week we had a great time meeting in teams planning out the next few terms. It was so encouraging to meet together and share the great things that happened in 2025!

We are even more excited for 2026! We have had a great time launching back this week across our outreach ministries and seeing new children attend from our Christmas parties! God is so good! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

How do we build, train and maintain a fantastic volunteer team!

This must be one of the biggest challenges in children’s ministry and something we all struggle with. I still don’t have the greatest method but I am so thankful for the team that we do have.

Recruiting volunteers is something that takes prayer, patience, and empowerment. It’s not just about filling a need but it is about helping others to grow in their gifting and God given purpose.

I believe we need a change of heart posture in recruiting volunteers. It doesn’t have to be stressful or challenging. A simple change in strategy and rhythms can change it to being a joyful experience.

Yes I did say joyful experience! 😊😉

Here are my top tips:
🌟Recruit 3-4 times a year
🌟Don’t just recruit from the platform
🌟Empower them to grow in their gifting
🌟Have a clear mission and values that your team can follow and come alongside in serving.
🌟Build a culture of celebration and family.
