St Andrew's Parish Church, Headington, Oxford A very warm welcome to St Andrew’s Church. There has been a place of worship here in Headington for over 900 years. Do visit the website to find out more.

We are an ancient church, but more importantly we are a living
community, here to follow Jesus Christ and serve our parish and local area. We are a friendly and welcoming community which worships in the catholic tradition of the Church of England. Sunday Services are at 8.00 am & 10.00 am every Sunday. At the 10.00 am service, we have our "Young Church" available for children. Do join us for coffee and biscuits afterwards. We have a number of services and other offerings during the week: you are most welcome to join us for some or all of these.

As temperatures rise this week, the thick stone walls and stained glass of St Andrew’s offer respite from the heat, as they have done for centuries. Church will be open every day, and you’re welcome to come and sit in the cool, bring a book, pray, have a moment of quiet, or bring your laptop (though please take the work calls out on one of the shady churchyard benches to preserve the quiet for others!)

8am Said Eucharist (Book of Common Prayer)
10am Parish Choral Eucharist (with activities for children, followed by refreshments and churchyard Easter egg hunt!

A very merry Christmas to you and all whom you love from St Andrew's!

May the joy of the angels,
the eagerness of the shepherds,
the perseverance of the wise men,
the obedience of Joseph and Mary,
and the peace of the Christ-child
be yours this Christmas;
and the blessing of God almighty,
the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
be with you all this Christmastide.
