Photos from one of our Christmas Parties in the community held at the Grange Road Methodist Church, Tankerville Road in Hartlepool, UK by the Chayil Experts Foundation - The Healthy Wellbeing
What a great memory. Thank you Google for bringing this up. 🙂
It was a very beautiful Christmas party. The Foundation was started in 2006 in Darlington. It progressed to Hartlepool, and is currently based in the city of Nottingham. The dream to serve the community is still intact and can never die. We organise English ESOL classes, weekly IT classes, weekly cake decoration classes, weekly swimming sessions, weekly sewing classes, weekly women exercise classes, a weekly drop-in, yearly Christmas parties, random certificate and gifts giving days, weekly musical instruments and singing classes, holiday coach trips to parks, zoos, and places of attractions, gave food away, gave cloths away, and gave fruits away. We had a weekly food cooperative where we sold fruits at a discount, weekly NHS talks where we invited nurses and our local NHS staff to give talks, we had a monthly international food day where we invited different nationalities (Congo, Iran, Zimbabwe, The Gambia, Malawi, Iraq etc.) and members of our community to cook, show us through a PowerPoint presentation, whilst we all tasted after the presentation; we released weekly articles on health matters that affects us, organised coffee mornings, and a lot more.
We are grateful to God for this beautiful but challenging experience.
