We have been hard at work this week making our scarecrow for the scarecrow festival later this month.

We would love for you to pop into St Mary's to see the finished result. Between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 26th September, there will be crafts and refreshments available too, and everyone is welcome.

See you there!

Most of us have probably tried praying in one way or another. Maybe to Jesus, to a God, or a some sort of divine power. There is often an innate desire in each of us to reach out beyond ourselves, perhaps when we're in need, or question whether there's more to connect with than the world we know and live in. As people we're always being shaped by something, whether we realise it or not, and we desire to grow into the best people we can be. Prayer is both of these things. Reaching out to someone of great love, and allowing something deep to stir within us and transform us in great love.

Over the course of September and October we're going to be journeying through the Lord's prayer, exploring themes such as praying for personal needs, the troubles of the world, listening to God and dealing with those really tough times when prayer seems unanswered.
We'd love you to join us on Sunday mornings to explore this, and to get stuck in to our midweek small group communities to go deeper on each theme.

We’d love to invite children aged 5–11 to join us for Holiday Club this summer on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th August, from 9.00am–12.00pm.

This year’s theme is Living in God’s Creation. Together, we’ll explore the wonder of the world God has made through plenty of fun and engaging activities, stories, games and time together.

Whether your child is part of our church family or has never been along before, they’d be very welcome to join us.

Over the last two weeks we’ve had a great time celebrating together in community with our regular ‘Eat In’ Church family lunch, Summer Fest and our end of year Youth Celebration. And yes, we had a BBQ at them all!

As we prepare to slow down for the summer, we're starting a new four week series looking at sabbath rest. Join us from the 12th of July as we unpack how we can put the practice of sabbath back into our daily lives and find deep soul rest in God's love.

We'd love to invite you to join us for Invitation Sunday on Sunday 12th July.
Whether you've never been to church, haven't been for a long time, or are simply curious about faith, you're so welcome to join us.

We'll be gathering for our usual Sunday services at 9.00am and 10.45am. We'll also be beginning a new sermon series on the Sabbath, exploring God's invitation to find true rest in the midst of busy lives. If you're longing for peace, space to reflect, or simply a moment to pause, we'd love you to come and discover more.

There's no dress code, no pressure, and no expectations - just come as you are.

From 1.00pm, everyone is invited to join us for a free BBQ. Whether you've joined us for the 9.00am or 10.45am service, we'd love you to come along, enjoy good food, meet new people, and spend time together.

Where is God when the world feels like it’s falling apart - when he seems distant or silent?

This weekend at church, we’re starting a new six-part series through the book of Ezekiel, exploring these big questions together. Ezekiel spoke God’s word to his people at the lowest point in their history, as they endured exile and uncertainty - yet even there, God offered hope, restoration, and the promise of his presence.

Join us as we discover how Ezekiel’s message of challenge and comfort still speaks today, helping us to live with hope in the midst of whatever we may face.

We’re starting a new four-part series this Sunday: Practicing the Way – Witness.

In a post-Christian culture, “sharing the gospel” can feel intimidating, even offensive. But the Spirit within us is drawing near to those far from God. As we follow Jesus, we’re invited to welcome others, listen deeply, and simply share the good news of who He is.

Join us as we grow in confidence and courage as everyday witnesses, seeking to bless those around us and help others discover true life in Jesus.

We’d love to see you at 9am or 10:45am!
