Be holy, because I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:16
Holiness is not something we put on—it is something Christ works within us.
In a world where it is easy to appear spiritual, God is not calling us to act holy but to walk in holiness. Outward expressions of faith may impress people, but only a transformed heart pleases God. True holiness is revealed in our character—in our humility, purity, love, forgiveness, integrity, and obedience.
What we speak, what we choose to watch, what we allow into our minds, and how we treat others all reflect the condition of our hearts. Holiness is not reserved for church services; it is lived out in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are God’s temple. “If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person, for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” (1 Corinthians 3:16–17)
May we never settle for the appearance of holiness while neglecting the pursuit of a holy life. God does not seek perfect performances—He desires surrendered hearts that reflect the character of Christ.

വിശുദ്ധി നാം പുറത്തു ധരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മുഖമൂടിയല്ല; ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഒരു സ്വഭാവമാണ്.
ഇന്ന് ആത്മീയരായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നത് എളുപ്പമാണ്; എന്നാൽ വിശുദ്ധിയിൽ നടക്കുന്നത് ദൈവത്തോടുള്ള യഥാർത്ഥ സമർപ്പണമാണ്. പുറമേയുള്ള ഭക്തി മനുഷ്യരെ ആകർഷിച്ചേക്കാം, പക്ഷേ രൂപാന്തരം പ്രാപിച്ച ഹൃദയമാണ് ദൈവത്തെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. വിനയം, വിശുദ്ധി, സ്നേഹം, ക്ഷമ, സത്യനിഷ്ഠ, അനുസരണം—ഇവയാണ് യഥാർത്ഥ വിശുദ്ധിയുടെ അടയാളങ്ങൾ.
നമ്മുടെ വാക്കുകൾ, നമ്മൾ കാണുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ, നമ്മുടെ ചിന്തകൾ, നമ്മുടെ പെരുമാറ്റം—ഇവയെല്ലാം നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ അവസ്ഥ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. വിശുദ്ധി സഭയ്ക്കുള്ളിൽ മാത്രം ജീവിക്കേണ്ട ഒന്നല്ല; ഓരോ ദിവസവും, ഓരോ തീരുമാനത്തിലും പ്രകടമാകേണ്ട ജീവിതശൈലിയാണ്.
ദൈവവചനം ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു: “നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയമാണെന്നും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവ് നിങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനെ ദൈവം നശിപ്പിക്കും; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയം വിശുദ്ധമാണ്, ആ ആലയം നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ.” (1 Corinthians 3:16–17)
വിശുദ്ധിയുടെ ഭാവം മാത്രം മതിയാകരുത്; വിശുദ്ധമായ ജീവിതമാണ് നമ്മുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം. ദൈവം പുറംകാഴ്ചകളെയല്ല അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നത്; ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സ്വഭാവം പ്രതിഫലിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സമർപ്പിത ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയാണ് അവിടുന്ന് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നത്.
വിശുദ്ധരായി കാണപ്പെടാൻ ശ്രമിക്കാതെ, വിശുദ്ധിയിൽ നടക്കാൻ നമുക്ക് തീരുമാനിക്കാം. നമ്മുടെ വാക്കുകളും ജീവിതവും ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തട്ടെ❤️
