Due to the weather alert, the service at St Gwynog's Churche has been cancelled - for tomorrow morning. Sorry if this is disappointing news to you - it may not be such a major storm... but we do need to look after everyones safety... it is better to make sure that we all keep safe than have people suffering form falls and other accidents trying to get to church. Know that you will be in my prayers. Please keep warm and safe. God bless,

Nia x🙏🌈

PS As you read this message if you can think of anyone who are members of St Gwynog's Church but not on email or Facebook - please can you contact them with this news re tomorrow's service. thank you so much.

Our sincerest congratulations to Wendy Gardner who was ordained priest by Bishop Gregory at St Asaph Cathedral on Saturday 29th June. Wendy was deaconed last year at All Saints Church, Newtown. She has been a faithful and diligent Christian and member of St David's Church, then All Saints and Llanllwchaiarn Churches. It was great to see over 50 members of her church family - from All Saints, Llanllwchaiarn and Aberhafesp - having made the journey to St Asaph for this special occasion. Some stayed in St Asaph overnight whilst others travelled from Newtown early morning to arrive in time for the service that started at 10am.
Today... Sunday, Wendy celebrated her first communion - officiating at All Saints Church. It was a wonderful occasion. Wendy we wish you all the very best for your future ministry. Congratulations and well done. Nia 😁🙏

All Saints will be a Hub centre for Well Fed as from the 21st May. We will start this project off with another taster day - where people can come to hear more about Well Fed and its benefits. We will take our first orders on the 21st May for meals - these will be delivered to church the following Tuesday and will be collected by the customers any time between 12-30pm -
5-00pm.
These meals are all fresh, without any processed ingredients or additives, and they will keep fresh for 5 days. The meals range from individual microwavable meals for 1 to a home freshly packed meals for 4 ready to prepare and cook, and there is the option of slow cooker meals for 4.
And the wonderful news about these meals is that they are generously subsidised!
I will send photos of samples of meals on another post!
Please share the news about this service that will happen every Tuesday at All Saints Church... You can also order from home... but you do need to arrange for the meals to be collected.

Come to support this young students orchestra tomorrow afternoon. A treat is in store for all of us. Nia 🙏🌈

Nicci Midgley - Reader shares this with all in our Cedewain churches:

Please have a look at this posting re a Lent Experience and sharing for the next 5 weeks as we prepare for Easter. Join me and a group of lovely people.
There are 5 sessions, and each one is stand-alone, so people can dip in and out as they wish - I want to really highlight this - I know sometimes people feel bad if they can't attend all the sessions offered on a course... There is no need to worry about this re this course as they are really stand alone sessions... so come and don't worry... please... and hear this... I won't be taking a register!!!
We meet from 7-8pm, with a prompt ending, but we offer refreshments at the start, from 6.45pm onwards, for those who would like a cuppa and a chat...
Nicci
