This Saturday, our Wildflowers ladies gathered for breakfast - some travelling from as far as Birmingham to be in the room - and something powerful happened.

We unpacked one question together: when God calls you to do the hard thing, how do you respond?

Here is what we landed on. Joy is not found in ease. Joy is found in knowing your calling. But courage - the fierce, unshakeable kind - comes from knowing whose service you are in. When you are clear on your why, you can sustain the how. Through the years, through the setbacks, through the seasons when the fruit is nowhere in sight.

You were not called to a comfortable life. You were called to a purposeful one. And there is something greater waiting on the other side of the hard thing you are avoiding.

If you were in the room on Saturday, let this be your reminder. Know your why.

🌸Hey Wildflowers! Your next morning out is already planned. 🌸

Good food, great women, and a conversation that might just meet you exactly where you are.

Because we’re not gathering to pretend everything is fine. We’re gathering to ask a harder, better question together:

What if the difficult season you’re in is not the enemy of your purpose — but the very ground in which your purpose is being formed?

Moses said “who am I?” Esther was terrified. Paul didn’t choose the prison.

None of them felt ready. But God wasn’t waiting for them to feel qualified. He was forming them through the very thing that felt impossible.

We’re sitting with that together on the 30th May.

What if the heavy thing you have been tasked with, or the difficult season you are in, is not the enemy of your purpose — but the very ground in which your purpose is being formed?

Maybe you’ve been asked to step into something and it feels too big. Too much. Like someone made a mistake picking you.
Or maybe life has just handed you a season you didn’t choose, and you’re trying to find God somewhere inside it.

Either way — you’re in good company.

Moses didn’t feel qualified.
Esther didn’t feel ready.
Joseph didn’t choose the pit.

But God wasn’t wasting any of it.

The weight you’re carrying might not be what’s standing between you and your purpose.
It might be the very thing shaping it.

But this morning went deeper than brunch.

The story of Queen Esther – and one main idea:

Scaffolding.

The temporary structure that holds something up while it’s being built into something greater.

Esther needed it. She called her people to fast and pray before she took one step forward.

And a nation on the edge of destruction? God was their scaffolding – hidden in the courage of one woman, placed exactly where she was needed.

For such a time as this. 👑
