Alive is a vibrant church with locations in Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Grantham, Hykeham, Metheringham, Norwich and Wymondham. We exist to allow people to connect with Jesus Christ. We're passionate about seeing people saved and lives restored in the places we live. We believe that Jesus Christ came to give us life in all of it's fullness and therefore we make the statement, we are Alive!

3 Days of Prayer and Fasting: Day Two. 

Tuesday September 8. 7pm - Hour of Refreshing. 

Come for an hour of resting in God’s presence through contemplative prayer and Bible reading using Lectio Divina.

We are so excited for our three days of prayer and fasting this week, Jesus is going to move in power.

Here are the prayer focuses:

- Abundantly More…. SALVATION. Pray for many people in Grantham to fall in love with Jesus and for Alpha starting on September 21. 

- Abundantly More: TRANSFORMATION Pray for lives to be transformed by the love and grace of God. Pray for every person in Alive to live a life wholeheartedly surrendered to Jesus. Pray for every life group to be a place of love, encouragement and championing each other on in Him.

 - Abundantly More: PRESENCE. Pray for the manifest presence of God to move in power in kids, youth, Life Groups and Sunday celebrations.

Monday September 7. 7pm - Hour of Power.
Time of spiritual warfare prayer with extended times of praying in tongues.

We are so excited for our three days of prayer and fasting this week, Jesus is going to move in power.

We are really excited and expectant for our next 3 days of prayer and fasting. Pick up prayer focuses this Sunday.

Evening gatherings:

Monday September 7 7pm - Hour of Power
Focus on spiritual warfare prayer with extended times of praying in tongues.

Tuesday September 8 7pm - Hour of Refreshing
An hour focused on personal renewal with contemplative prayer, using Lectio Divina.

Wednesday September 9 730pm - Revive
An evening of worship, communion and corporate intercession.

Fancy coming and joining the adventure in Alive Grantham?? Is Jesus calling you to help lead us into the next season in Him?

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Location Pastor to join our team at Alive Grantham and share in the responsibility for leading and developing the location.

This full-time, permanent role will work closely with the Location Pastor to embed Alive’s vision, values, mission and pattern, helping people grow as disciples of Jesus and mobilising them to serve, lead and make a difference.

The role includes spiritual leadership, preaching and teaching, developing Life Groups and leaders, overseeing pastoral ministry and Sunday teams, and helping to build a healthy, welcoming and outward-looking church.

We are looking for someone with a heart for people, a passion for developing others and a desire to see God’s Kingdom advance in Grantham and beyond.

We have loved our series so much on Joshua that we doing two more weeks on it in August!! This Sunday, Jonas is continuing our journey through this amazing book.
