🌞✨ Summer Solstice Gathering ✨🌞

This month we will be doing our moot a little differently so we can come together to celebrate the solstice

Join us on the shores of Leasowe Bay as we gather to celebrate the Summer Solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year.

Together we will honour the height of the sun's power, connect with nature, share community, and welcome the abundance and light of the season.

📅 Sunday 21st June 2026
🕢 7:30pm - Sunset at 9:28pm
📍 Meet at the Gunsite Car Park, Leasowe Bay

We will enjoy a shared picnic, simple solstice ritual, and watch the sun set over the sea as the longest day comes to a close.

Please bring: 🌿 Something to share for the picnic 🧺 A blanket or chair 🥤 A drink 🕯️ Any meaningful item you'd like to place on our solstice altar (optional)
Whether you're experienced in pagan or spiritual practice, or simply feel called to spend an evening in nature with like-minded people, you are warmly welcome.

Come as you are. Bring your laughter, your stories, your intentions, and your appreciation for the beauty of the turning wheel of the year.

This month, we will be gathering for a powerful drum circle led by Red Kite Drums. Through rhythm and shared energy, we’ll drop into a meditative flow, release stress, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.
Drumming awakens the body, lifts the mood, and creates a deep sense of belonging. No experience needed, just bring yourself, and a drum or percussion instrument if you have one.

On the evening, using local and ethically sourced wood, you’ll be guided to craft a simple wand that can become a personal magical tool for your practice. Wands have long been used in many pagan traditions to focus energy, intention, and will , and this is a chance to create one that is truly your own.

Yesterday we went out into the woods to gather sticks for our next moot.

What began as a simple task became a quiet moment of connection with the land. We made sure that nothing was taken from the trees themselves, every branch was respectfully gathered from the ground, already gifted by the woodland. As we foraged, we paused to give thanks to the Earth for her generosity and for the branches that will soon serve our circle. It felt important to acknowledge the spirits of the land and the living world around us.

All around us the signs of the turning season were clear, buds beginning to swell, birds calling through the trees, and that gentle warmth in the air that whispers that winter is loosening its grip. Spring is waking, and the land is stirring once more.

We are grateful for the Earth, the turning of the wheel, and the chance to walk lightly and take only what is freely given. 🌿
