Can't 'bear' to wait any longer for another session of 'GET OWT!' (Outside With Toddlers)? Then here's some good news: the fun, outdoor, nature-based fun is taking place tomorrow! Join us in Ravensbury Park (CR4 4DQ) for a 'Goldilocks & the Three Bears' inspired session that we think feels, just right!

No booking required for this session of 'GET OWT!'. Simply turn up and we'll have an activity pack (with yummy snack included!) for you and your little one(s).

GET OWT! (Outside With Toddlers) is designed to help families get outside and connect with the natural world. The themed sessions are not only lots of fun, they also encourage social interaction, have a positive impact on wellbeing, offer key developmental opportunities for pre-schoolers and help families to explore nature & the world we live in together.

With activity trails, story-time, music-making and sensory play, GET OWT! is a jammed pack weekly session that is fully risk assessed and run by our trained & safeguarded team.

In between the torrential rain showers was gorgeous sunshine and we took full advantage of it! Our Jurassic Fantastic 'GET OWT!' session really was 'roarsome' and we simply had the best time enjoying the great outdoors with old and new friends.

As well as enjoying multi-sensory play in the Dinosaur Swamp, creating Triceratops Masks, searching for lost dinosaurs on our Jurassic Woodland Trail, story & singing time, we got thinking about the following:

🦖 Dinosaurs were loud and many of them roared. What makes us shout and roar?
🦖 Dinosaurs are extinct, which is probably a good thing given the size of a T-Rex and it's teeth! Are there things in the world we'd like to make extinct or get rid of if we could?

Looking forward to next Thursday's session, which is based on the classic story: 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. Taking place in Ravensbury Park between 10am-12pm.

We've got a fantastic Jurassic themed session of 'GET OWT!' (Outside With Toddlers) planned for this week, which promises to be 'roarsome'! Join us this Thursday and get a little messy whilst enjoying multi-sensory play in our Dinosaur Swamp, get creative making Triceratops Masks, have fun playing with nature clay dinosaurs and wander through our special dino-themed trail before our story & singing time!

🌦️ We're keeping a close watch on the weather forecast for Thursday. Currently, we're expecting a gentle breeze and no rain! But as always, at 'GET OWT!' we don't believe in bad weather, just wrong clothing! So if it does shower, pop your raincoat & wellies on and join in the fun outdoors.

Ah! It felt great being back in Ravensbury Park for 'GET OWT!' (Outside With Toddlers). We love making new friends and so it was fab seeing new faces amongst the familiar ones! We particularly enjoyed seeing the children wearing their animal headbands as they wandered through this week's Woodland Trail, inspired by 'Old MacDonald's Farm'.

Our story this week was 'What the Ladybird Heard', written by the brilliant Julia Donaldson. It's a great story that speaks of all the farm animals working together to save the prize cow and how the littlest of animals in the story (the Ladybird) used her tiny voice to come up with a big plan to save the day! Which got us thinking:

🐞What difference can we make when we work together?
🐞How can we listen better to those with the quietest of voices?

We're back next Thursday (10am-12pm) for our dinosaur themed 'GET OWT!' session, which promises to be roarsome! Needless to say, we can't wait!
