*_But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC)._*

As a Christian, youโ€™re not subject to disease, infirmities or demons, because you have the transcendent life in Christ. Youโ€™re not in bo***ge to the elements of this world; you live above them. I love the way the Apostle Peter puts it; he said, *_โ€œWhereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lustโ€_* (2 Peter 1:4).
You live far above and beyond the corruption, decadence and darkness of this world because youโ€™re an associate of the God-kind, a partaker of the divine nature. Youโ€™re superior to Satan and the corrupting influences of this present world of darkness. Your life is full of blessings, glory and virtue. Virtue is excellence; you have an excellent life in Christ Jesus.
Think about the Apostle Peter who wrote the beautiful verses of scripture that we read earlier; he once trembled with fear and denied the Lord Jesus before a little girl. His faith was unstable. But after he received the Holy Spirit, something changed. He expressed and manifested the God-life in Him with such glory and boldness that through his preaching, three thousand souls gave their hearts to Christ in one day, as revealed in Acts 2:41.
What transformed him? He had come to the revelation of the glorious life we have in Christ. What a life! Thereโ€™s no failure, defeat, or darkness in you; only blessings, excellence, perfection, and glory. 1 Peter 3:9 says you were called to inherit a blessing, not shame or weakness. This is the life youโ€™ve received in Christ; itโ€™s one of dominion over sickness, disease, demons, poverty, failure and death. Glory to God!

*I thank you Father for the glorious life youโ€™ve given me in Christ Jesus, a life of blessings, excellence, health, victory and strength. I walk in your marvellous light, displaying your virtues and perfections to my world. I live above sickness, defeat and demonic influence because I live in Christ. Hallelujah!*

*RIGHTEOUSNESS CONSCIOUSNESS*

*_For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21)._*

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, unveils one of the most extraordinary revelations in Scripture: God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Remarkable! Jesus wasnโ€™t made a sin offering or a sin sacrifice in a figurative sense; rather, He was made sin itself. On the cross, He became the very embodiment of sin.
This is much more than He being declared sinless by God; it conveys something deeper: Jesus had a consciousness of His own sinlessness. He was sinlessness-conscious. He lived with the awareness that there was no trace of sin in Him.
This is why righteousness consciousness is so vital. If the Lord Jesus lived with a consciousness of His sinlessness, then as His righteousness, you must live with a consciousness of your righteousness in Him. He didnโ€™t just make you righteous, He made you the righteousness of God. Youโ€™ve become the very expression of Godโ€™s righteousness. Youโ€™re His righteousness, walking and talking, in human flesh.
When you understand this, it changes the way you live. Youโ€™ll no longer see yourself as a forgiven sinner but as a bona fide child of God living out His perfection, His purity and His glory in this world. This is more than a legal standing; itโ€™s your vital reality. He said in Isaiah 54:17, *_โ€œโ€ฆ their righteousness is of meโ€ฆ.โ€._*
No wonder Paul said in Philippians 3:8-9, *_โ€œโ€ฆthat I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.โ€_* Be ever conscious of your righteousness in Him. That consciousness gives you boldness in life and dominion over adversities.

*Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of my righteousness in Christ. I live every day with the consciousness that Iโ€™m your righteousness, holy, blameless and justified. I walk in dominion, manifesting your nature and fulfilling your perfect will for my life, in Jesusโ€™ Name. Amen.*

*WE DONโ€™T CLAP TO PRAISE GOD*

*_Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice (Psalm 141:2)._*

Itโ€™s important to understand the spirituality of ministry and the place of music and expressions of worship in the house of God. Clapping, for instance, which many are very used to in church, is neither praise nor worship. While clapping is not wrong, it must be put in its proper place.
Clapping is applause; itโ€™s a sign of approval or excitement. Spiritually, however, it doesnโ€™t equate to praising or worshipping God. Youโ€™ve probably heard people say, โ€œLetโ€™s clap for Jesus.โ€ But clapping is not how the Bible teaches us to worship or praise the Lord.
True worship is expressed with words, songs of the Spirit, and the lifting of our hands in reverence to God. For example, we saw from our opening scripture that the lifting of hands is an act of worship recognized in heaven. The New Testament praise and worship is in spirit and truth, as Jesus said the Father desires (John 4:23-24).
When a miracle happens and people clap, theyโ€™re not praising God; theyโ€™re expressing approval or excitement. The danger is that in doing so, they sometimes neglect to give God the actual worship He deserves as a result of such a miracle. This is why we must be instructed by the Word. Worship must always be rooted in knowledge, not habit.
So, while clapping has its place as a human response to events, true praise and worship must come from your spirit, expressed through your words, songs, the lifting of your hands, and other expressions in worship that the Bible talks about. This is what glorifies the Lord. We may clap in celebration of victories, but that's not praise: *_"O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph"_* (Psalm 47:1).

*Dear Father, thank you for the understanding of true worship and the revelation that we are the true circumcision that worship you in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh. Even now, I worship you from the bottom of my heart, for youโ€™re the only true God, righteous, holy, just, gracious, pure and kind. Thank you for your glory in my life, in Jesusโ€™ Name. Amen.*

*THE OUTWORKING OF THE WORD IN YOU*

*_To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)._*

True Christianity is the outworking of the Word in you. When you talk, itโ€™s the Word; when you act, itโ€™s the Word. The Christian, essentially, is the expression or the image of the Word, such that every step you take and all the things you do are the outworkings of the Word of God.
Thatโ€™s what the Lord Jesus was when He walked the earth; He was the unveiling of the Word: *_โ€œAnd the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among usโ€ฆโ€_* (John 1:14). He was the manifestation of God, the express image of His person. Thus, your life is the revelation of the Word because youโ€™ve been born of the same Word: *_โ€œBeing born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for everโ€_* (1 Peter 1:23).
2 Corinthians 3:2-3 says that youโ€™ve been manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ: *_โ€œForasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.โ€_* The epistle of Christ is the Word of Christ.
No wonder weโ€™re the effulgence of His glory, the manifestation of His righteousness. When you show up, Christ shows up. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). You make manifest the savour of His knowledge, wisdom, grace and power in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14). Blessed Be God! Youโ€™re Christ alive in your world today. He manifests His love, power, compassion, and grace to the world through you. Have this consciousness.

*Dear Father, I thank you for making me your living epistle, known and read by all men. My life is the expression of the glory of Christ. The divine life is manifested through me, and I bring others into this life through the Gospel. *_There was a man sent from God, whose name was John (John 1:6)._*

Some people argue that no one should say, โ€œGod sent me,โ€ but the Scripture already settles that. The Lord Jesus said in John 20:21, *_โ€œโ€ฆas my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.โ€_* Moreover, we read in our opening scripture that there was a man sent from God whose name was John. So, like John, youโ€™re Godsent. Youโ€™ve been sent as a witness with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Youโ€™re not a wanderer in life; youโ€™re a divine envoy. Youโ€™re heavenโ€™s ambassador in the earth: *_โ€œNow then we are ambassadors for Christโ€ฆโ€_*( (2 Corinthians 5:20). Youโ€™re a light bearer, and more than that, youโ€™re light: *_โ€œYe are the light of the world...โ€_* (Matthew 5:14). Youโ€™ve been sent to illuminate menโ€™s path and light up the nations with the message of Christโ€™s salvation.
Refuse to let anyone convince you otherwise; you were born with a purpose. You came as a witness to your generation. Your life is Godโ€™s message. And being a witness means making disciples. The Masterโ€™s instruction wasnโ€™t to simply lead men to Christ but to also make disciples of them: *_"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the ageโ€_* (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV).
That means those you reach with the Gospel are to follow and observe your faith. They should walk in your steps in doctrine, in prayer, and in Kingdom service. Theyโ€™re to follow the vision youโ€™re following. The Apostle Paul understood this when he said, *_โ€œBe ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christโ€_* (1 Corinthians 11:1). True disciples lead others in the path they themselves are walking. Disciples make disciples. So, stay committed and be consistent in soul winning. Be bold about your calling and faithful to your divine mission.

*Dear Father, thank you for choosing and sending me as your witness to my generation. I walk in the light of your Word and reflect your glory everywhere. I make disciples through the power of your Spirit, teaching and guiding them in the path of righteousness. Iโ€™m bold about my calling and faithful to my mission, in Jesusโ€™ Name. Amen.*

*THE BASIS FOR OUR FAITH AND CONFESSIONS*

*_We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13)._*

Faith isnโ€™t about empty confessions or mere repetition of words. For example, merely saying โ€œIโ€™m well, Iโ€™m well, Iโ€™m wellโ€ isnโ€™t what makes you well. If youโ€™re trusting in that, youโ€™ve turned faith into works, a kind of spiritual labour that doesnโ€™t produce results.
Hereโ€™s how it works: the Scripture says, โ€œI believed and therefore have I spokenโ€; so, it starts with believing, before speaking. Whatโ€™s the basis upon which youโ€™re saying โ€œIโ€™m well?โ€ The foundation of our faith is in what Christ has already done.
Therefore, the reason you say, โ€œI refuse to be sickโ€ is because He already gave you divine health, and you refuse to give it up. Regardless of how you feel in your body, when anyone asks, โ€œHow are you?โ€ You say, "Iโ€™m wellโ€ because, according to the Word, you have the life of God in you thatโ€™s impregnable to sickness, disease or infirmities.
Itโ€™s the same reason you declare, *_๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ:--โ€œI refuse to be poor,โ€_* because Christ has made you rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, *_โ€œFor ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.โ€_* Your confessions are not attempts to make the Word of God real in your life; rather, theyโ€™re affirmations of whatโ€™s already true in Christ, so you declare, *_๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ:--โ€œI am rich in Christ.โ€_* Our faith in who we are in Christ, what we have, and our heritage and abilities in Him is the basis for our confessions.
Our faith is anchored in the finished works of Christ. Our confessions, therefore, bring them into manifestation. Furthermore, we also have the creative ability to bring forth things that never existed before. Thatโ€™s a different operation; it happens by the spoken Word of God in your mouth (Greek: โ€œrhemaโ€).
When you speak by the Spirit, you frame new realities, whether spiritual or material. But when you affirm your health, prosperity, or victory, youโ€™re not creating them but acknowledging and activating what Christ has already made yours. Glory to God!

*Dear Father, thank you for granting me an understanding of the true basis of faith. My words are full of power because theyโ€™re anchored in the finished work of Christ. As I declare your Word, the realities of my inheritance in Christ; my health, wealth, and victory are activated and manifested, in Jesusโ€™ Name. Amen.*

*THE KEY IS WALKING IN LOVE*

*_But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22)._*

Someone once wrote me a letter wanting to know how to overcome arrogance with God's help. He had been perceived as arrogant and genuinely wanted to dismiss that trait from his life and personality. That was a wonderful desire. Simply wanting to change was his first step toward victory over it.
But hereโ€™s what you must do when you desire a change in any area of your life: act on the Word. Be a doer of the Word as read in our opening scripture. Respond to Godโ€™s Word and live accordingly. So, in dealing with arrogance, for example, you act on the Word. Ephesians 5:1-2: *_"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in loveโ€ฆ."_* The key to overcoming arrogance is walking in love.
Then the Bible says in Galatians 5:22-23, *_"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."_* The fruit of the Spirit refers to the natural product of the recreated human spirit, the born-again spirit. These qualities are part of your innate nature and love is one of them.
Galatians 5:19-21 lists the works of the flesh, and arrogance is of the flesh. Choose to walk in humility, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control. These qualities are already within your spirit. Cultivate and develop them by walking in love. Every so often, declare, *_๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ:---โ€œI will walk in love.โ€_* Make that decision, and youโ€™ll experience the glory of God in your life in a remarkable way, because love is His nature and the way of victory.

*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for your Word that purifies and renews my heart. Your love is fully expressed in me. I walk in humility, meekness and love toward others. *BORN INTO DIVINITY*

*_Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17)._*

When you were born again, what the Bible says is that you were baptized into Christ: *_โ€œKnow ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?โ€_* (Romans 6:3). Galatians 3:27 says, *_โ€œFor as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.โ€_*
So, being born again, you were born into God, into divinity, by the Word, through the Spirit of God. You were actually received into Christ. Thatโ€™s why the Bible says, *_โ€œ...If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature...โ€_* (2 Corinthians 5:17); heโ€™s born anew with the God-life and God-nature.
Your human life was not merged with eternal life; it was replaced by it. This is what the Bible teaches. And if you donโ€™t know it, youโ€™ll never live in the reality of the divine life. Your knowledge of it activates the experience. Thatโ€™s why in 1 John 5:13, the Spirit, through the Apostle John, tells us, *_โ€œThese things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal lifeโ€ฆ.โ€_*
God wants you to know that you have His life in you. That life doesnโ€™t cohabit with sickness, disease, or infirmities; it destroys them. The divine life in you is incorruptible, indestructible and impregnable to failure and death. But if you donโ€™t know it, youโ€™d live as a mere man, suffering the same afflictions as those without Christ.
Thatโ€™s why you must understand what it truly means to be born again. Itโ€™s to have the pulsating life of Christ in you. Itโ€™s to be translated or transferred from mortality into immortality, from humanity into divinity. Blessed be God!

*Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of eternal life that I have in Christ Jesus. I walk in the consciousness that I have the life and nature of God in my spirit. This life makes me superior to sickness, disease and darkness. I live victoriously always, demonstrating the divine life in me, in Jesusโ€™ Name. Amen.*
