HAF Project – Misterton Easter 2026
The HAF Easter 2026 programme delivered a wide range of engaging activities across four days, providing children and young people with fun and enriching opportunities alongside healthy food provision in a safe and supportive environment.
Day 1
The first day focused on creativity and physical activity. Activities included Easter-themed arts and crafts, hockey, football, mask painting, badge making, clay modelling, console gaming, music, and dance sessions. Young people were encouraged to explore their creativity while taking part in sports and group activities.
Day 2
Day two was a BBQ-themed day where all young people were provided with burgers and sausage dogs. Activities throughout the day included Easter arts and crafts, DJ workshops, rounders, team-building activities, football, hockey, darts, badge making, and dance sessions. The day offered a mix of physical activity, creativity, and social engagement.
Day 3
The third day was an Easter party-themed day featuring a variety of games and activities. Young people took part in sports, team-building challenges, music, dancing, and party-style activities. The focus was on inclusion, enjoyment, and strengthening peer relationships in a relaxed environment.
Day 4
The final day involved an off-site trip to the Ice Dome in Doncaster for an ice-skating session. This was a highly successful and enjoyable trip, with all young people participating. Some developed new skills quickly, while others learned through experience, resulting in lots of laughter. The trip was safely managed with no accidents and was a positive, memorable experience for everyone involved.
Food Provision
Healthy food was provided daily throughout the programme. This included sandwiches, salads, coleslaw, crisps, yoghurts, fruit juice, and fresh fruit such as bananas, apples, grapes, cherries, satsumas, and oranges. The food offer supported healthy eating choices and ensured all young people had access to nutritious meals during the Easter holidays.
