It’s been a while since we shared an update on our project, but we are pleased to say that the building is now looking fantastic. The roof has been completed, the scaffolding down, the painters are currently on site, before the drain water goods are installed.

While this project comes to an end, we now begin preparation for phase three - the refurbishment of the church hall. Thankfully, with the support of the community, we are already a long way in achieving our target of £250k, which will give us and the community a building fit for the 21st century.

A progress video of the current project will follow, but please continue to support with prayer, or popping into the church hall on a Thursday (12-2) and Saturday (10-12), or even making a donation (cash and card donations welcome). Thank you in advance!

There were times we thought we’d never get this far, however we are pleased that toilets and kitchen are now operational. With some finishing touches, including washroom accessories and painting internally, and rendering, roofing and painting externally, we can now see a light at the end of what seemed like a very long tunnel!

Updated photos of the new kitchen and external render will be shared shortly.

We apologise for the lack of progress photographs, however, we are pleased to say we are now in the ‘finishing stages’ of the project. It’s been a long journey but we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! 🙏

Recent building work has included the removal of the chapel gable wall render to repair existing cracks in the stonework, as well as the fitting of plasterboards, the rendering of walls, the installation of a new electrical system and the self-levelling of the floors. We are making good progress, with a completion date of August 31st.
