December is Here!
I can’t believe this year is almost gone. It has been a great year enjoying married life and living trusting God on a daily basis. I have experienced victories and faced challenges, being so thankful to God for His presence and corrections when I had to acknowledge my own faults. We don’t stop growing.
Christmas is around the corner, and it comes with so much nostalgia from the old times when my children were little. I have so memories, pictures and artefacts that remind me of those places we have been in four continents. My children are adults now, but I still have the desire to have them close to me. I just pray that they will be close to our Father, experiencing His love and provision daily.
I wish they could make it for Christmas, especially now that God has given us a new season, acknowledging His redemption in our lives, changing our wailing into dancing, removing our sackcloth and clothed us with gladness [Psalm 30:11] Because the days of weeping and mourning are gone. I would like to embrace this new season with my four children. This will definitely bring healing to our hearts and also honor God the author of life. I would appreciate your prayers for the Lord to allow us to have this reunion. Pray especially for the Lord to provide the air fares for two of my children. Liz lives in California and Nathan lives in Florida.
Sarah has moved to the UK so we are happy to having her serving in our church plant. God has used her powerfully through her worship on Sundays.
Pray for our church plant as we go to a new transition, most students are gone now. In the meantime, God has been touching lives and transforming people.
Pray for continuous financial provision. The end of the year is always a challenge. We will not be able to see family in Spain for the holidays because of the increase of airfares. Pray for Gema’s parents and especially for her youngest brother who has been dealing with serious health issues for a while.
Pray for God’s protection for our physical bodies, emotions and spiritual lives.
God bless.
