The plane the Pope travels in is called, 'Shepherd One' It is from that plane that the Holy Father travels to proclaim the Truth of the Gospel. To fulfil what we hear today. 'When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.'
Jesus sent out His "Shepherds" His apostles, as we hear today, through the compassion He feels for us. He wants us to know the truth, and He wants to gather us to Himself, so that we may share His life. Too often we find ourselves scattered, needing the shepherd to guide us back. In the Gospel, Jesus calls by name men who He will send out into the world to gather together His scattered flock; gathered together as One Church, through One faith, and One Baptism- a mission as Pope Leo which continues today. We may often find ourselves scattered but we are never without a shepherd.

Hi everyone we had some serious rain in just opposite the baptismal font at Mt Carmel water poured in. We have had the roof repaired this week cost £6,200 we had to borrow £5ooo form the diocese of Salford Renovation Paid £1200
