Over two billion people across the planet have never heard of Jesus and have no access to churches or Jesus’ life-changing message of hope. Twenty-five million people die every year without ever hearing how much God loves them! Our mission at GFA World is to reach those people and lift them up with the hope only found in Jesus Christ. Our mission for our lives is to be authentic followers of Jesus

and to live our lives in a way that God calls us to. We believe in sustainably supporting those in need: by raising up national missionaries through long term missions, creating spaces for people to experience God within their own culture, and to help anyone in need with our education programmes, health initiatives, practical gifts, and through spiritual transformation that brings life-changing peace, restored relationships, and repaired lives. Compassion is so so needed in our world. ❤️ The GFA World missionaries and Sisters of Compassion joyfully enter hard times in people's lives and show the love of Christ to those struggling the most!

Help us pray for the people who are struggling and need a helping hand, as well as GFA-supported workers who are ministering to them+aiming to touch them with God’s healing love! As humans, we need and thrive off connection and support - it's the way God wired us. That's part of why the work of our national missionaries is so incredibly important! They're able to connect deeply to people within their own communities and cultures and share with them the love and friendship of God.

Sometimes simply knowing that you have a friend on your side who's willing to drop everything and come pray for you is the soul filling hope you need! 🙌

"Jeni’s lack of education impacted her childhood and adult life in a multitude of ways. Illiteracy deprived her of the joy of reading stories—both to herself and, later, to her five children. Unable to read newspapers, the current events of her nation had to reach her by word of mouth. Street signs were useless when finding her way around a new area. No reminder notes or shopping lists could be written. What’s more, Jeni could have looked straight at the written name of Jesus and never have known it."

We are passionate about seeing that no one goes without the gift of reading! GFA workers all over the world are teaching in their communities, making sure that the most vulnerable among us can read and write - which goes so far in breaking the cycles of poverty in their lives!
