πŸ”₯ THE PRICE OF WASTED TIME AND MISSED OPPORTUNITIES πŸ”₯

πŸ“– Joel 2:25 (KJV)

"And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten..."

INTRODUCTION

Time is one of God's greatest gifts to man. Every person receives time, but not everyone uses it wisely. Opportunities are often attached to seasons, and when a season is neglected, delayed, or ignored, the consequences can be painful. Yet, through the mercy of God, restoration is possible.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY WASTED TIME?

1. Spending years without pursuing God's purpose.

2. Delaying obedience to God's instructions.

3. Living carelessly without direction or goals.

4. Investing energy in things that produce no eternal value.

5. Allowing distractions to consume productive seasons.

6. Repeating avoidable mistakes without learning from them.

7. Neglecting spiritual growth and personal development.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY MISSED OPPORTUNITIES?

A missed opportunity is a divine chance, season, relationship, instruction, or open door that was ignored, delayed, rejected, or mishandled.

Many opportunities come only for a season. When they are neglected, the consequences may remain for years.

πŸ“– FOUR SCRIPTURES

1. Ephesians 5:16 (KJV)

"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."

Explanation:
God commands believers to use time wisely.
Every day should be invested for God's purpose.

2. Psalm 90:12 (KJV)

"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."

Explanation:
Life is short and valuable.
Wisdom teaches us to maximize every season.

3. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."

Explanation:
God works through times and seasons.
Opportunities are often connected to divine timing.

4. Proverbs 24:30-31 (KJV)

"I went by the field of the slothful... and, lo, it was all grown over with thorns..."

Explanation:
Neglect produces loss.
Failure to act at the right time brings consequences.
