A District Testimony Service will take place on Sunday 7th June at 4pm at Stricklandgate Methodist Church.

The service is for Rev Michaela Barker and Deacon Samm Morris, who have been recommended for ordination.

There’s nothing like cooking a meal with food that you have grown at home yourself. Whether you have a garden, yard or even just a windowsill, you can grow herbs and salads that can elevate your cooking and save you money. As well as boosting your wellbeing, this can become a hobby where you are also providing a habitat for our precious wildlife.

If you are feeling lonely, if you enjoy doing crafts, come along on Thursday, you can bring your own knitting etc, but we do have lots for you to use. All are Welcome.

This Tuesday at Fairhaven Methodist Church is out berevement support cafe from 3-4.30pm use the woodlands road side entrance.
We chat about loss, recovery and all the things that impact us when we loose someone we love.

We are meeting today at 2pm for a walk around Fairhaven. Approximately 2hour walk with a refreshment break at Fairhaven walk. All welcome including pets xx

A prayer at Pentecost, for Aldersgate Sunday 🙏

Holy Spirit come again this Pentecost:
Out of the depth we call.
Cut through the noise to still our souls and warm our hearts.
Open our ears to hear and understand.
Give us to unhurried work as those assured by grace.
Holy Spirit come again this Pentecost:
Out of the depth we call.
Prevent us from harm, raise our hope, comfort our lament.
Persist in us as conscience, care and love.
As you awoke our brother John, awaken us: from his Aldersgate into our own.
Amen.
