Rooted is our monthly Sunday evening club for children in Yrs 5-6 to come and wind down from the weekend and explore the Christian faith. We enjoy free time with activities like pool, table football and board games. Then we all sit down with pizza for a a talk from the Bible and some discussion on the topic. The evening rounds off with a game altogether.

The 1st Rooted night of the new school year is on Sunday 13th September. It runs 5.30-7pm. Doors open at 5.20pm.

Rooted is completely free to attend. If you feel you want to contribute towards the running costs, there will be a card machine available at the end of the session for you to donate, but there is zero obligation or expectation.

🌍️ Within the Anglican Communion Cycle, we're praying for the Church of the Province of Uganda.

Yesterday was our last Rooted evening of this school year, so it was time for the traditional summer party in the Vicarage garden! We had a fantastic bunch of year 4,5 & 6 students come along as well as some of our Voyager youth group. There was lots of fun on the inflatable obstacle course, garden games, BBQ and 'Smores around the fire pit! We welcomed the year 4's to Rooted and sadly had to say goodbye to the year 6's who are moving on to Secondary school, we hope to see you back in the future as you are very welcome to come and join our Voyagers group. Have a great summer everyone 😀

With the end of the Summer term rapidly approaching it's nearly time for our ROOTED SUMMER PARTY! Taking place in the Vicarage Garden, as long as the weather co-operates, there will be lots of outdoor games to play (hopefully a bouncy castle too! )and a BBQ. As usual Rooted is open to all year 5 and 6 students, but also year 4 students who are interested in joining us in September and our Voyager year 7+ group. So it's going to be a great party 😀
