Things to Do on Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Decree) 🌙✨
Laylatul Qadr is the most blessed night of the year, better than a thousand months (Qur’an 97:3). Here’s how you can make the most of it:
1️⃣ Engage in Sincere Dua (Supplication) 🤲
• Ask Allah for forgiveness, guidance, and blessings.
• The best dua to recite:
اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni
“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me.” (Tirmidhi)
2️⃣ Seek Forgiveness (Istighfar) 🕊️
• Sincerely repent for past sins and ask Allah for mercy.
• Repeat Astaghfirullah frequently.
3️⃣ Perform Extra Prayers (Nawafil) 🕌
• Pray Tahajjud in the last third of the night.
• Pray extra Nafl Salah and increase your focus.

• Read Surah Al-Qadr (97) and other chapters.
• Reflect on the meanings and seek to implement them.
5️⃣ Give Charity (Sadaqah) 💖
• Donate to those in need—every act of charity on this night is multiplied.
• Support causes such as feeding the poor or building mosques.
6️⃣ Engage in Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah) 📿
• Say SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar frequently.
• Recite Salawat (Durood) upon the Prophet ﷺ.
7️⃣ Make a Personal Connection with Allah ❤️

• Strengthen your relationship with Allah by making firm intentions for change.
8️⃣ Strengthen Family Bonds 👨👩👧👦
• Encourage family members to worship together.
• Teach children the importance of Laylatul Qadr.
9️⃣ Stay in Worship Until Fajr 🌅
• If possible, engage in continuous worship throughout the night.
• Perform Fajr Salah in congregation to complete the blessed night.
🔟 Make Intentions for the Future
• Plan to improve your faith and good deeds beyond Ramadan.
• Set spiritual goals for the upcoming year.
May Allah grant us the ability to make the most of this blessed night and accept our worship. Ameen! 🤲💙
