Giving Community Care — Putting General Civilization Class into Action
As we continue to grow and branch out through our General Civilization Class, we are learning that civilization is not simply something we study — it is something we practice.
Through Giving Community Care, we are putting the principles of service, compassion and responsibility for our community into action.
This weekend, we had the privilege of supporting St Mungo’s, a wonderful pan-London organisation providing accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness.
Together, we delivered care packages as a small but heartfelt expression of care.
Every package represents more than the items inside. It says:
"We see you.
We value you.
And our community cares"🤗
This is Giving Community Care — taking what we learn in our General Civilization Class and carrying it beyond the classroom, one act of service at a time.
"Giving with love. Caring with grace. Lifting each other to a higher place"💞.
