Thank you so much everyone, for coming to our Christmas event, we also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped and supported us on the day - we're so grateful to Santa who was brilliant, the children enjoyed, Cynthia who played the lovely Christmas carols on her violin, the amazing chefs, as always the food was delicious! Finally, the setup and set-down team, this event wouldn't have been possible without you - thank you so much. West Thamesmead Community Church hopes everyone has had a wonderful Christmas, and still enjoying the festive season and we wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year. God bless.

After a wonderful, touching send off, from the lovely congregation at Giggs Hill this morning. Where it was so encouraging to see the seeds of new life, in a blossoming partnership with River Church Orpington, that we're praying will be accepted and blessed by the wider church.(I'm so sorry we were having such a great time I have no pics...😮) We could hardly believe, this will be the last time we will meet at Heronsgate School before we leave. The room still festooned from the leaders' party, a hue of party sparkle still on the floor, despite the wonderful John, the Premises Manager's best sweeping efforts, looked like a cloud of blessing had been 'showered' upon us
There was such a sense of the presence of God, as we prayed and anointed the congregation and God's Holy Spirit was visibly touching, healing and empowering them. It was such a privilege, we will truly miss these precious people and moments like this.
West Thamesmead Community Church will be setting up their 'tent' in different places over the next few weeks. In a park for our annual Community BBQ, that's usually held at school. On Zoom, whilst thirty of us, are literally 'in tents' at Limitless Youth Festival. In our garden (an extra on Saturday 10th August for believers' baptisms) and together with Charlton URC, in what will now be a united final, service, on 11th August at 10.30am. The following two weeks locations, are to be confirmed, but WTCC will probably be at Charlton URC.

We will truly miss the beautiful, faithful and loving people, the Holy Spirit inspiring unity (Koinonia) in the amazing Church God has planted here and are so excited to see what God has planned for them and us, in the coming years. Praise God, he is good and will be with us all, in the adventures to come ❤️ 🙏

It will be West Thamesmead Community Church's final service (for a few weeks) at Heronsgate School today, before the school have to close down during the Summer holidays for major electrical repairs.
WTCC will still be meeting for worship over the summer, bit will need to meet in different locations. Please do message me for details, if you want to join us. Either inbox, or email [email protected] or telephone 07828110639.
Next week is the community BBQ, it will be in West Thamesmead (please contact for details)
The following week (4th August) the church will be meeting through Zoom, as Andrew and I, together with other leaders, will be taking twenty six young people to the Limitless Christian Youth Camp!
In 10th August there will be a baptismal service in the Manse Garden!
On 11th August, we will be having a joint leaving service at Charlton URC, Bramshott Avenue SE77HX (A bus or train ride away) at the earlier time of 10.30am.
On 18th August if the work is complete WTCC will get back in Heronsgate School, if not, we will keep you posted, but it is very likely we will be back at Charlton URC either together with them in the morning, or separately, worshipping at 3pm in Charlton Church Hall.
You would all be very welcome to any of these worship services or events.

Apologies, that there will be NO Love Soup Cafe tomorrow. Unfortunately, the Broadwater Village Hall door shutter, is broken, locked shut, so we can't get into the building.
One repairer has come and attempted unsuccessfully to mend it. Tomorrow they hope another repairer will come at some point, but there is no guarantee they will be successful before we need to start cooking. Hopefully it will all be sorted by next week. We look forward to serving you then 🙏
