However, over the following month, six veterinary appointments were missed, according to the case details. Belle was left without the follow-up care needed to treat her injury and manage her pain.

The RSPCA became involved, and Inspector Kristy Ludlam visited Moore’s home in April 2024. The inspector reported that Moore appeared intoxicated, became verbally aggressive and refused to sign Belle over to the charity’s care.

After further contact, Moore agreed to an interview but failed to attend that appointment and three subsequent meetings.

Bobby weighed just one kilogram and had a body condition score of only 1 out of 9. He was severely malnourished, had lost muscle and was covered in his own urine.

His dental condition was so severe that he could no longer eat properly. He was also in considerable pain and unable to clean himself.

During the investigation, Williams told police that he had washed the clothes he was wearing and could not say where the kn*fe was. He maintained that he had acted because the dog had a*tacked him.

Crime scene investigators later found traces of bl*od on a bedroom door handle, apparent bloodstaining on the carpet near the doorway and partially bloodstained footprints on the landing.

💔 Three Dogs Left in Appalling Conditions

On the evening of 1 May 2024, firefighters attended a property in Aberdeen and called police for assistance because two of the three dogs inside were reportedly extremely aggressive.

Police entered the flat and found an American bulldog in the bathroom. He was moved into the living room, where officers discovered two Cane Corso-type dogs.

The conditions inside were deeply disturbing. A bath tap had been left running, and the bath was so full of dog faeces that the waste had blocked the drain and caused the water to overflow.

The water spread throughout the property, mixing with faeces and creating what was described in court as a filthy slurry. It seeped through the floorboards into the flat below.

The prosecutor told the court there was an “unbelievable amount of dog faeces all over the flat” and said the dogs had apparently been confined there for an extraordinary length of time, leaving them no choice but to relieve themselves indoors.

🐶 Diesel Was Also Suffering

When Kailith Cameron arrived, he said he had not been living at the property. He claimed that only Diesel, the American bulldog, belonged to him, while the other two dogs belonged to a friend.
