This interview means a lot because it captures a chapter of my journey—not just as an actress, action performer, and creative, but as someone who has had to rebuild more than once.

Looking back, I can see how every setback, career pivot, injury, and challenge has shaped the person I am today.

I’m grateful to VoyageLA for the opportunity to share my story and some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

If there’s one thing I hope people take away from it, it’s this:

You don’t need a perfect path.
You need the courage to keep moving forward.

⚔️ "Yakuza Girl," written and directed by the talented Louis DeStefano, is now available on Tubi! I play MIKO, a character who navigates the intricate world of loyalty and power within the Yakuza organization. Facing numerous challenges and heart-wrenching decisions, MIKO seeks revenge against Kenji, who shattered her belief in the system by taking her brother's life.

The complexity of MIKO's emotions is heightened by her past relationship with Kenji, her mentor, making her quest for vengeance even more emotionally charged. I had the privilege of acting alongside the talented Matt Ishizuka, who portrays Detective Kenji.

One of the most intriguing aspects of "Yakuza Girl" is its unique approach—all of my scenes with Kenji and Masa were improvised, which allowed for a raw and authentic portrayal of our characters' struggles. This unscripted format challenged me as an actor, pushing the boundaries of creativity and spontaneity as well as other actors. Thank you to Louis for trusting and driving the story and actors and bringing this story to life!

YAKUZA GIRL ⚔️

I am truly grateful to be a part of this film as “MIKO” coming out soon. It has been an adventurous ride with the process of filming moving very fast, but that was a part of the excitement and challenge that I wanted when moving to the US. Thank you to all the incredible cast, crew, and director for their hard work and dedication to bringing this project to life. Had such a blast! 💥
